Ana TRUJILLO DENNIS, PhD, is associate professor at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid) where she is lecturing in the Department of International Relations. She received her doctoral degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Faculty of Geography and History, Department of Contemporary Art). She currently teaches a course in Asian Studies in the International Relations Degree, as well as Spanish Art History and Spanish Contemporary History for international exchange students. Her main area of research is Japanese art and culture from the 19th and 20th centuries, and its relationship with the West. She is a member of the Research Group Asia (Grupo de Investigación Asia-GIA), as well as the Research Group “Japón y España Relaciones a través del Arte”.
