Simon TURNER is a PhD Research Student at Birkbeck College, University of London (England). Simon is interested in fandom and fan communities with a particular focus on online communities. This includes an interest in online communication and communities. His doctoral thesis is titled “Yaoi and Online Fan Practices: A Netnographic Approach to a Yaoi Manga Fan Site, Exploring Users’ Practices Online”.
